The early years of the teardrop camper
Teardrop campers were once small camper trailers with the barest necessities for a weekend trip. These trailers were first designed in the 1930s by Louis Rogers to use for his honeymoon. Some of the more luxurious models will also have fancy stereo systems, lights in the rear kitchenette and a lock down cover for your stove. Some of the teardrop campers that you can buy nowadays will also have a kitchen table and couch to bunk bed conversions.
